Creating Presentations
Build professional presentations with Gridlines.
1. Start with an Outline
Tell us your objective. Example:
"Look at previous sales decks and create an agenda for our sales deck. Our company is Gridlines (https://gridlinesapp.com/). We sell to investment banking, private equity, and financial analysts. We need slides people can circulate internally to explain what we do."
2. Refine the Agenda
We'll suggest an agenda—iterate on it before creating slides. The agenda saves to your files so you can resume later.
3. Generate Slides
Once your agenda is set, ask us to create slides. Start with the first few, then iterate one slide at a time.
4. Give Feedback
Iterate on content:
"Make the layout more focused on [specific element]"
Edit existing slides: Open a slide and say:
- "Change the title to [new title]"
- "Update the chart data to show Q4 numbers"
- "Move the logo to the top-right corner"
5. Use Research Mode
Gridlines can pull in external data. Example prompts:
- "Pull down the latest investor relations and SEC filings for Meta"
- "Review my agenda and fill in supporting information from the example CIM in my files"
